Meet baby Rose, the new recipient of the Doug The Pug Foundation.

Doug The Pug’s littlest new friend in Nashville was born on January 19th, 2022. She was born happy and healthy, until two weeks later her parents took her to the doctor after some unusual symptoms and found out she had a rare liver disease called biliary atresia. It affects 1 in 20,000 newborns.

At only 2 weeks old she was admitted to the hospital and then spent 3 months living in the hospital. Her liver then started getting worse and her parents were told she needed a life saving liver transplant at only 5 months old.

Baby rose was fortunate to get a new liver and is now happy and healthy. Doug got to meet her recently and gave her lots of gifts. They ended up becoming the best of friends!

However, her family has been through a traumatizing ordeal and because of all the hospital bills and time spent away from work, the Doug The Pug Foundation is raising money for her family to help with costs and any future costs.

Please consider donating to Baby Rose and her family as she is an absolute fighter.
